WINTER

The Königstour in the Hochkönig ski area is worthy of its excellent reputation and ranks up there with the "Sella Ronda" and "Weiße Ring". What this region has to offer skiers is simply breathtaking: 6 summits, 35 km of continuous slopes, and 7,500 vertical meters. The ski tour is one of the most impressive in the Alps and features gorgeous alpine panoramas with views of the Hochkönig and the Steinernes Meer. You can start the Königstour anywhere; it doesn't matter if your starting point is Maria Alm, Mühlbach, or Dienten. The excellently signposted slopes will lead you to the highlights of the Königstour. The cross-country trails are perfectly prepared. The gorgeous mountain panorama accompanies cross-country skiers with each step. Along with a large cross-country skiing offer, Maria Alm also offers a night trail.

The Hochkönig region offers not only 120 km of the best prepared slopes but also3 first-class fun parks. The Funslope Schönanger on the Aberg awaits all those for whom the jumps and elements of a fun park are still a little too challenging.

Königstour

KÖNIGSTOUR

Experience one of the most beautiful and breathtaking ski tours in the Alps, and rediscover yourself - in only one day. The Königstour connects the three towns of Maria Alm, Dienten, and Mühlbach and includes an unbelievable 35 km of slopes as well as 7,500 vertical meters.

Night Show

NIGHT SHOW

Snow, fun, and a cheerful atmosphere: with the motto "the peak of emotions", the program includes everything from fascinating formation skiers from the local ski and snowboard schools and breathtaking freestyle and stunt performances to a radiant finale with torch relay and fireworks under the starry sky. The night show by the Simmerl lift in Maria Alm provides magical moments and unforgettable experiences.

Early Morning

EARLY MORNING SKIING

The snow crunching underneath your feet, pristine slopes, the lifts (almost) just for you, and a perfect breakfast in one of the beautiful huts in the Hochkönig region: you can experience this and much more in the Hochkönig region with Early Morning Skiing in Mühlbach am Hochkönig.

For Hochkönig Early Morning Skiing, you will have to rise and shine a little bit earlier. Participants will be divided into 3 groups ("pro", "intermediate", and "chill"), which will be accompanied by managers of the Hochkönig lifts. Enjoy this opportunity to carve down the untouched white slopes on the Hochkönig.

 

Requirement: skiing proficiency for (at least) red slopes and a valid ski ticket. 

  • Wednesday (from February till March) 

  • The meeting point is at 7:15 am at the Karbachalm lift in Mühlbach

  • Limited no. of participants of 25 people

  • Price: € 54 (including breakfast & insider tips)
